As I soak in my drawn bath that was awaiting me after a wonderful early evening game drive, where we saw a lioness with her 3 small cubs, each about 4 months old and just 10 feet from our vehicle, I can’t believe that they call this camping! This is the most luxurious “tented” accommodations I can ever imagine. There are just 6 tents…12 people being cared for by 20 staff!! Gourmet meals, laundry, large tents with indoor bathtubs and open air showers. Even hair dryers are provided. We are hardly roughing it…
This is an ideal honeymoon destination as well as a great family trip. My kids are really enjoying the game drives and learning about the varied wildlife of South Africa, their habitat and behavior. Fabulous stuff for all ages! I will post photos next week. As for now, time for dinner and spending great family time together…
